Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Leadership
    • Lead and manage administrative departments and support staff.
    • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
    • Ensure efficient day-to-day operations across university offices.
    • Drive process improvements and operational excellence.
  2. Strategic Planning
    • Support university leadership in achieving institutional goals.
    • Participate in strategic planning and organizational development.
    • Prepare operational reports and recommendations for executive management.
  3. Budget and Resource Management
    • Develop and manage departmental budgets.
    • Monitor expenditures and ensure proper use of institutional resources.
    • Review procurement requests and administrative expenditures. Responsibilities involving budget preparation and administration are common in university administrative leadership roles.
  4. Facilities and Campus Operations
    • Oversee facilities, maintenance, security, transportation, and other support services.
    • Coordinate space management and campus infrastructure projects.
    • Ensure a safe and productive campus environment.
  5. Human Resources Coordination
    • Supervise administrative personnel.
    • Support recruitment, training, performance management, and workforce planning.
    • Promote employee engagement and professional development.
  6. Compliance and Governance
    • Ensure compliance with government regulations, accreditation standards, and university policies.
    • Maintain institutional records and documentation.
    • Manage risk management and audit-related requirements.
  7. Stakeholder Management
    • Coordinate with academic departments, student affairs, finance, and external partners.
    • Serve as a liaison between university administration and operational units.
    • Facilitate communication across departments.

Minimum Qualifications

    1. Master’s degree in:
      • Business Administration (MBA)
      • Public Administration (MPA)
      • Educational Management
      • Higher Education Administration
      • Management or related field
    2. A doctorate is referred.
    3. Experience
      • 8-15+ years of progressive administrative or management experience.
      • Experience in higher education, government, or large organizations.
      • Previous leadership experience managing multiple departments.”
