Responsibilities
- Vision & Strategy
- Owns the B2B/B2B2C roadmap across Institutional, B2B2C, and Payments, and ties each PM’s roadmap to company OKRs and revenue targets.
- Knows how our B2B products work in detail (APIs, partner integrations, settlement and payment flows), enough to weigh in on design and to spot when one partner’s request will create problems for other partners or the platform.
- Decides which partner segments to prioritize, which products to scale, and which to rework, based on market opportunity and unit economics.
- Works with Core and B2C PMs on shared capabilities. Pushes for solutions that can be reused across partners instead of one-off builds, and agrees on who owns what where B2B and consumer products overlap.
- Owns launch timelines for major initiatives like new partner launches, including cross-team dependencies and go/no-go calls.
- Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Builds relationships with key contacts at strategic partners and integrators, while the PMs manage partners day to day. Steps in on escalations the PMs can’t resolve, supports Business Development on the pipeline, and leads regular business reviews with key partners.
- Takes part in discussions with senior leadership and external partners alongside the PMs, who represent their own product areas. Gives the group-level view when it’s needed.
- Makes sure integrators have accurate API documentation, a working sandbox, and support during onboarding.
- Leadership & People Management
- Directly manages the B2B/B2B2C PMs (Institutional, B2B2C, and Payments): sets goals, holds 1-on-1s, handles performance reviews, and hires.
- Plans headcount and team structure for the group with the Head of Product.
- Coaches PMs on writing PRDs, managing partners, assessing vendors, and handling compliance and risk discussions.
- Reliability, Risk & Compliance
- Makes sure partner-facing products have proper monitoring (API uptime, transaction success rates, settlement status, partner-level metrics) and uses the data to make product decisions.
- Leads incident response for B2B/B2B2C products: assesses severity, explains root cause to affected partners, and works with Engineering on lasting fixes. Runs postmortems for the group.
- Holds PMs accountable for compliance and risk across institutional trading, partner programs, and payment rails. Works with Legal and Compliance on regulatory submissions and makes sure security, privacy, and audit requirements are in every spec.”
