Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Directly manages all developers and testers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Delivery: Owns the delivery plan, ensuring milestones are met for configuration, customization, integration, and testing.
- Transition to Operations: Leads the planning and execution of knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and handover to L1/L2/Bill Run teams. Ensures all runbooks, SOPs, and support processes are in place for a smooth go-live and post-implementation support.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinates with business, IT, operations, and vendor teams to align project outcomes with organizational goals.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identifies and resolves delivery risks and issues, especially those impacting operational readiness.
- Continuous Improvement: Champions best practices in delivery, testing, and operations, and drives continuous improvement across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years in IT project delivery, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams (developers, testers).
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise system implementations (billing, ERP, CRM, or utility platforms).
- Strong understanding of software development, testing, and IT operations (applications, databases, infrastructure).
- Demonstrated ability to lead transition to operations, including knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and support handover.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with vendors and managing external delivery partners is an advantage.
