Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the overall finance and accounting operations, including general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and management reports.
- Drive financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial modeling.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to provide financial insights and support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances against budget and forecasts, and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee cost management initiatives, including production cost analysis, inventory valuation, and cost optimization across dairy operations.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of accounting records, books of accounts, and financial data.
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, systems, and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including timely submission of reports and payments to government agencies (BIR, SEC, LGUs, etc.).
- Lead audit activities, including preparation for annual external audits, coordination with auditors, and resolution of audit findings.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resources to support operational and investment requirements.
- Safeguard company assets by implementing effective financial controls, asset monitoring, and risk management practices.
- Collaborate with the corporate finance team on financial reporting, budget alignment, and group requirements.
- Lead, develop, and manage the finance and accounting team, ensuring capability building and high performance.
- Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs to support business performance tracking.
- Support business expansion, capital investments, and strategic initiatives through financial evaluation and analysis.
Requirements
- Years of relevant experience in finance and accounting
- With experience in both financial planning & analysis and accounting operations
- Experience in manufacturing, dairy, or FMCG industry is an advantage
- With at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and taxation
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate financial data into business insights
- Leadership and people management skills
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office tools
