Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Chemical Technician coordinates activities related to chemical testing which covers operation and maintenance, acceptance and support services testing that are provided to all Meralco offices covering the franchise area.
- Prepares materials and specimens for test.
- Prepares reports of tests conducted and updates test records of equipment and instruments; help prepare monthly accomplishment report of the Unit, accounting for all tasks accomplished by subordinates.
- Performs regular checking and maintenance of test equipment, laboratory apparatuses and test tools.
- Assists in analyzing causes of equipment failures to determine corrective procedures.
- Maintains ISO 17025 standards within the laboratory.
Requirements
- Graduate of Chemistry or Chemical Technology
- Preferably a Licensed Chemical Technician
- With a valid Professional Driver’s License
- Open to work onsite at Meralco San Joaquin, Pasig Sector
