Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Content Creation: Design and produce high-quality visual assets for interactive e-learning modules, virtual labs, educational videos, animated explainers, infographics, presentations, and digital simulations.
  • Adaptable Branding & Visual Assets: Create team guidelines aligned with company branding. Develop a reusable library of simplified, abstract visual assets for common UI elements to ensure longevity and relevance across future UI changes.
  • Collaborative Design & Iteration: Work with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts from concept to completion. Translate instructional needs into compelling visual narratives.
  • Brand & Accessibility Adherence: Ensure consistent brand identity across all designs. Adhere strictly to accessibility guidelines (WCAG) to support inclusive learning experiences.
  • Visual Storyboarding & Prototyping: Develop detailed video storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather early feedback.
  • Digital Asset Management: Maintain an organized, searchable library of digital assets, including AI-generated content, for efficient reuse and version control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in educational design
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
  • Demonstrable experience and interest in leveraging AI tools for design, with examples or clear ideas for application in learning materials
  • Solid understanding of visual communication principles, typography, color theory, and layout
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design choices to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements

Nice to Have

  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate)
  • Knowledge of front-end web development basics (HTML/CSS) for responsive learning experiences
  • Familiarity with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles
  • Prior experience in a tech company or corporate learning & development department
  • Familiarity with UX research methods for optimizing learning interfaces
