Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 10 years of experience in taxation within the real estate industry
  • At least 5 years in a senior-level capacity
  • Experience in audit is a plus
  • Actual work experience in companies involved in:
    • Horizontal project development
    • Property management
    • Commercial leasing operations
  • Knowledge of SEC (PSE experience is an advantage), BOI, PEZA, and other regulatory compliance requirements
  • Well-versed in BIR and local government tax laws, rules, regulations, and requirements
  • Strategic thinker and planner, capable of aligning tax rules with business operations and providing guidance
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to discuss tax issues, rules, and regulations with management
  • Proven experience in handling tax audits and investigations (local and national taxes), specifically in housing projects within the real estate industry
  • Maintains a strong network of contacts and regulators
