Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining the company Financial Models for each of our business lines (credit scoring, eKYC, co-lending partnerships, and Gen AI based autonomous agents), Investor Presentations and VDR
- Investor reporting for financial, operational, and financial inclusion metrics
- Interacting with current and potential investors to explain the business, answer diligence questions, and build relationships
- Building and tracking company KPIs, including trend analysis
- Working with senior management and country teams to set and track business targets, budgets and undertake scenario analysis
- Building and tracking financial and operational models for key partnerships
- Conducting industry research, including, but not limited to, market share, growth projections, and trends, competitors
Requirements
- Keen interest in pursuing finance / strategy in a startup environment, or in the area of financial inclusion.
- Background in investment banking or transaction advisory or experience in strategy and finance in a startup (at least 2 years).
- Experience in detailed financial modeling (both Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets) and in conceptualizing & creating presentation slides that communicate clear messages.
- Comfortable in working in a multicultural team, and in interacting with specialists from different disciplines.
- Working knowledge of financial accounting concepts and a willingness to think & learn. CPA NOT required.
