Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains operations plans for the medium-term line up and solutions landscape based on business and technology strategy, management directions and regulatory inputs.
- Performs technology scanning and develops the solutions roadmap.
- Develops solutions architecture and full stack solutions landscape and roadmap
- Evaluates business and technology strategies, management directions, and regulatory inputs and performs gap assessment of business requirements against the solution landscape.
- Responsible for:
- evaluation and acquisition of solutions aligned with technical standards, technology strategy and procurement policies.
- developing implementation plans for solutions taking into consideration technical capacity and resources.
- development of functional and technical designs for solutions through analysis of business requirements.
- conduct of solution selection activities, i.e., Request for Information (RFI), Proof of Concept (POC), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Proof of Solution (POS), to determine technical and financial viability of solutions.
- planning, preparation, execution and analysis of unit, functional and integration testing for solutions.
- development, configuration, deployment and implementation of solutions.
- ensuring the completeness of solution and product information in detailed designs, updated actual specifications and plans, acceptance reports, and pre-go-live operational acceptance test criteria.
- conduct of the solution’s post-Go-Live support and post-implementation review, assessment and reports.
- provision of Level 3 support for the solutions in Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations and manages the design of incident handling and support escalation procedures.
- management of software asset from acquisition, deployment, maintenance, retirement/disposal.

- Evaluates and conducts technical risk assessment for projects

- the fine-tuning and optimization of application databases during development, functional and performance testing in development and testing environments.

- Provides consultancy to business clients and other ICT offices on technology selection, technical evaluation, systems and business impact assessment and risk management of new/emerging technologies/solutions, and lifecycle planning of solutions.
Requirements
- 2-3 years in a similar role and/or a Solutions Architect role in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with implementing and supporting enterprise systems, business solutions, and applying technology to solve business problems.
- Experience with relevant development tools and specific application and system architecture, and has a strong understanding and application of software development methodologies.
- Experience in system analysis, design and development, software selection and implementation.
- Knowledge in the planning and design of ICT Infrastructure such as, but not limited to: Servers, OS, database, VM, middleware and networking infrastructure.
