Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) landing zones to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources to achieve cost efficiency and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of proven experience in Azure as an Azure Platform Engineer.
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform and creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) landing zones.
- Strong understanding of Azure services and architecture such as API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks, and Storage Accounts.
- Understanding of data related concepts such as medallion architecture and its application in data engineering
- Understanding of Azure core infrastructure concepts including networking, security, identity, and data Load Balancing, DNS, Express Route, Private Endpoints, Compute, Storage, Disaster Recovery, Security, and Monitoring
- Design and implement innovative infrastructure for a multi-region, highly available and highly automated Azure environment to support full software development life cycle and production of mission-critical applications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) or Kanban development methodologies
- Technical certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must be authorized to work for U.S. Projects
- Candidate must be willing to work regular Pacific Standard Time hours.
