Responsibilities:
- Manages and develops a responsible and comprehensive reconciliation management system which integrates appropriate principles and standards, auditing standards, statutory accounting requirements and agency fiscal policies and procedures.
- Ensures that guidelines and policies around cash processes are adequate and effective, and that such policies prevent significant errors in cash balance calculation.
- Verifies and oversees all reconciliation transaction of payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transaction.
- Updates and submits reconciliation reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prevents fraud or financial liability to the Company and to ensure data integrity and risk mitigation of all reconciliations.
- Mitigates risk and ensures reconciliation is completed within service level agreements and are effective as a key control over cash transactions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a four (4) year baccalaureate course
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Financial Management, Mathematical Finance, Economics and/or other related courses
- Relevant Experience
- At least five (5) years work experience as Reconciliations Officer / Supervisor
- Business Understanding
- Accurate and punctual reconciliation of accounts related to business operations; Statutory periodical reporting
